Apologies for this spam like post, but I have just finished the first of the 2 major parts of my disseration - Representation in modern videogames.
Over the last year or so a fair few of you provided links/discussion about various things related to it. If anyone is interested I will be posting the entire thing, once it has been assessed in July, onto my web space. I cannot post it beforehand for the obvious reason that I'd then have to prove it was my work online if the examiners found it.
Pretty pointless post I know, but I've been working on this finishing this section since the first week of January (weighs in at an impressive 6000 odd words with 2 tables and 21 pictures/diagrams) and I felt like sharing my joy.
With the literature review done and dusted last December, this now means I have one major section left to do, which I already have planned out and all the research/notes/images for, then it's essentially done! And it doesn't have to be done until May!

Nice one. I remember from my school days what a good feeling it is when you've got your homework done *way* before it needs to be - as I didn't do sports I always managed to do my homework on a Friday afternoon while the rest of my year were running round the sports field in the pouring rain!
