Now my problem is this, the GBA is calling me. Do I wait for an £80 UK machine and have enough money to maybe get a game, or do I get one now and be the envy of all my friends, safe in the knowledge that I have a wonderful piece of kit that I can carry around with me and play on.
Alas, if I buy a GBA now, I won't have any money for a game (imports are currently selling at around £50-£60!) so I'll have to play my old gameboy games on the new machine until I can work out which other console games I can afford to part with. Problem is that I get very attached to my games and it would be difficult to choose one to give up.
Like Odysseus to the Sirens, I am being dragged further towards the rocks of Nintendo's magical shores yet again, and I have no mast to tie myself to but my own restraints.
So I'll probably end up getting a GBA tomorrow!
I don't think driving all the way upt ot Bristol is going to satisfy my craving, but it's good to know that SR are letting people try the GBA, I think that's a great idea.
