Okay, maybe it's nothing we'd not figured out anyway, but coming from his own mouth it's a bit of an insight.
I guess it more or less puts to bed the whole debate about whether he wanted to go into Iraq since he was 'elected' (sorry, couldn't resist) - since that's mainly only important to show the state of mind of the guy - that he's looking for a fight.
In a strange way I respect his direct honesty though - from the start of the Iraq thing he cited 'regime change' as a reason, even if he did lie about links to AQ, and WMDs are dubious. Blair probably bottled out of that line.
Then this confession. 'I'm looking for someone to kill, and I'm not going to pretent otherwise'.
It may have been somewhat calculated to try to put a positive spin on his pro-war line, which everyone saw anyway, but I can't see many other politicians being so.. direct about it.
Needless to say, that respect is counterbalanced by an increased dispair at his bloodlust.
Saying he did it for regime change is NOT war-mongering, if it wasn't for how people in the west generally think and reason then that could have been the main reason instead of WMD.
i despair at how stupid he is.maybe he should concentrate more on whats going on his own country, because if he doesnt hes not going to have much of a country to defend.
