What is everyone looking forward to in consoles, the next generation systems are running in 640*480 at 60fps with increasingly realistic characters so the leaps in that respect are going to get smaller and less noticeable.
I'm personally looking forward to networking consoles, I love Perfect Dark mulitplayer, just imagine how much fun it would be with 16 opponents.
Other possible leaps are Virtual Reality outfits and headsets, increased on-line gaming.

Online gaming may be fun, but it sure costs a lot in England. And virtual reality stuff suck. Who wants to move about in an embarrasing outfit/headset thing. I just hope that developers don't rely on graphics too much to sell their games, instead of concentrating on what really counts: the gameplay.
