I broke my glasses. I'm practically blind without them, so it's ironic that I trod on them whilst looking for them in the dark. Then I tried to unmangle them, which caused the frame to snap. D'oh! It'll be at-least a week until they're replaced, and I've got lectures and trains to get! This is gonna be...interesting?
I have a one-month set of contacts which are in my room somewhere...
They're there for emergencies and when I go to play snooker (you try playing on a full size table in glasses :-D)

You should have gone to Specsavers, where if you buy one pair of extortionately priced glasses, you get a lesser pair for free!!!1!!

I tried contacts before and they hurt like hell. Plus you need to go have your eyes tested (which I needed to do anyway), and then sort the prescription, etc... Luckily my Uni has an optomology clinic on campus, so I can get a free eye test, then I can get the money back from whatever the glasses cost because I'm a student.

As for trains, erm.... you're in trouble there.
Sit at the front row at lectures; f you still can't see, just copy your friend's notes.
Get some one to film you.
