Quick question, can anyone name a videogame where a male character is rescued? The character cannot be just some generic person like a hostage but must be a proper named character.

Damned if I can think of any.

I need some examples for a piece of work.

In Deus Ex you rescue your brother.

Luigi's Mansion you have to rescue Mario. Oh and in Halo you have to rescue Captain Keyes I think his name is.

Isn't the idea of Luigi's Mansion to rescue Mario?

I don't know because I haven't played it.

Resident Evil 1, you are sent to rescue Alpha team, who are blokes.

Hitman 2 - you have to rescue the priest

Hmm, Elvis was naked and he didn't seem to have a twangler.

Command & Conquer had you rescuing some named scientists. I know, pretty poor, but best I could think of at the moment.

What about male aliens? Elvis from Perfect Dark needed rescuing if I remember rightly.
