Morning all.

You might remember in this recent post a discussion on the ADSL login details displayed in MyFreeola. It seems there is a problem for some users.

adsl.freeola.net and adsl.enta.net are just two of the three log-in realms available to all Freeola ADSL customers.

I've just come back from helping one of the people I look after who I've put on Freeola Broadband. They had a dead router. So I took one of my spares and set it up using the login details shown in their MyFreeola account: adsl.freeola.net

The replacement router sync'd immediately but the logs showed the PPP session was failing to login. After checking the account details and some head scratching I changed the details to adsl.enta.net and success - all's working again!

So, to me it looks like either the details in MyFreeola are incorrect for some people or something needs to change at Enta's end to allow both realms to work.

Hope that helps...

Something does indeed need correcting with the wholesalers and I believe we have already asked them to correct this on a number of occasions. I will check this with ncrs though.
