I've never really played any of the pro evo games, the last footy game (besides fifa 2003 which I owned for a week before burning) was fifa 99 (the last great fifa game).

However I got Pro evo 2 from a mate and I love it. Its awkward at the start getting used to the sticky and irresponsive controls, but once you get around them its great.

Oh yeah.

I always missed out on great games like this when I had my cube, well I have a lot of catching up to do.

Splinter Cell, you're next.

I wouldn't bother with Splinter Cell on PS2, it's bloody awful.

You only have to play one-match in a Pro Evo/Winning Eleven game to see that a lot more work has clearly been put in all the right-areas of these games, by Konami, than what you'd find from EA Sports in FIFA.

It's so-much more realistic... Much more challenging...

I always find these games not only look good in the player animations (and all-else EA claim to be "supreme" with), but, with all this, the game still plays very well, too (unlike FIFA).

Where as, in FIFA, the players will move and play in only 8-directions (or so it seems...), with Winning Eleven 6/Pro Evo. 2, the can play the ball and run at any-angle in any-way.

I enjoyed FIFA 2003 for a while... Until I got so-bored of it I decide to import for my 'Cube. And now, I'm never even gonna LOOK at another FIFA game again! :D

Pro Evo 3 (first one I've played) is very different to what I'm used to (like you, last FIFA game I played was '99, but I also used to play Actua Soccer 2, which was great) but I'm getting used to it and loving it so far.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
