On Amazon.com :D

You can see each person and how many and what total of money they have been donated. Gee, I hope Mr Bush appreciates the $20 so far raised for him by 4 people...as opposed to Kerry who has about $20 000 from 540 people.

Entertaining, albeit in a sad way.

And you can only donate if you are a US citizen BTW. Obviously.

every tomahawk missile the USA fired cost 500,000 in iraq, so that £20 pays for when they go to war nect time, buys 1/25000 of a missile - wow

They do actually address your concerns if you read the information about the scheme. I think it is a good idea and it is good to be able to go to one place and read a little about each candidate (where they have provided information).

It's a little frightening in my opinion to be honest. Why should a site offering books / cd’s / DVD’s etc concern themselves with providing contributions to presidential candidates? I can see their reasoning, but I’d prefer my book purchases and political contributions databases to be kept separate.

“Hmmm, on 12th December, Inside Al Qaeda: Global Network of Terror was purchased. Right, lets see if they have contributed cash, and if so, who too…………………”

I might be being a bit too “Big Brother” paranoid however.
