Isn't it funny how after the UK 'independent' enquiry results come out, and the BBC becomes a total scapegoat, and the government demands apologies... within days Bush has said he would like an independant enquiry?
I can imagine Bush watching developments and then going, hey guys.. these things really work - lets get one of our own underway and then nobody can't point the blame at us.

Kenny Starr's attempts to impeach Clinton over a spunk stain for example; where was the investigation into the 40-odd deaths allegedly ordered by the Clintons during their time in the White House? And don't even get me started on the Warren commission...
