I'm assuming you mean the 'Gaming' shows on TV and how videogaming is portrayed on TV?
Yes. Poo would describe the quality of today's shows. The videogame industry still seems to be shown as 'something for the kids' or simply not being taken seriously.
I don't mean we should get all hardcore about it, but the industry has pretty much exploded to much more than a niche market.
Another problem with gaming shows is that if they try to get hardcore, it just looks either extremely geeky, or embarrasingly sad.
Personally I don't think it will ever change. But I'm not too bothered, I never take any notice of 'The Boyz' or that guru tw@t anyway.

Gamepad with Violet Berlin is good. She knows what's she's doing. The rest are substandard twaddle.
True, but even that can come across geeky at times.

When i use to watch Game Network it was pretty good, but now it has just gone down hill. The whole thing now is just boring and cheesy!

Gaming always seems to come off as tacky and childish on telly. take those gaming awards they had on a few years back - when Lara bloody Croft decended from the ceiling, clutching an award, I actually stabbed knitting needled through my eyes and make a scarf from my brain fibres.
If you have FRIENDLY TV there is a programme called Gamerweb, it is rather good. You get to see the screen of someone playing the game so you can see if it looks good or not. The player also tells you what the game is like.
What if the person was crap at the game and died or got stuck on the first bit?
Not good if it goes wrong plus what the fcuk is a friendly tv does it give you that extra channel because it likes you?
