Well, technically not delayed - because a firm release date was never given. Alas, still slightly dissapointing.

Having said that, there'll be no drought of games until then. We have the fantastically fantastic Splinter Cell 2 in which you can play Co-Op and select a FPS view (complete with torch!) Sudeki should do quite well in promoting your textbook Good Vs Evil RPG. PS2 and GameCube owners should find polygonal-food in the soon to be released FF:X-2 and MGS:TS, both sure to top their respective charts.

But back to HALO 2. The new multi-player map is stunning, especially seeing as it's an old pic. Shame the Needler is back... I can't stand that gun! I didn't see any Rocket device on the Warthog Mk II, maybe it's a Mk 1 and they've put both in ther game.

Chief looks amazing. If they actually 'Geo-Mod' (Excuse the phrase) Chief's Suit, it'll be amazing... Chipping off the Blue/ Red paint after wearing thin the Mjolnir armour!

It's become a bit of a cult HALO, don't you think? First there was Lord of the Rings, then Star Wars and now HALO, a franchise already plastered over Action Figures, Clothing, Books and even Mugs! Still, you can't fault Bungie, if the demand is there, why not supply is.

The sound-track, (2 Disc Special Edition) is amazing. It's so well made. Good recording, too - if you've got a Hi-Fi system that nit-picks your CD's! Apparantly, the Frequencies your ears can't hear, your body feels. This is certainly true with the soundtrack.. pretty smart!

If you've read the HALO books you'll no doubt know that HALO: Combat Evolved merely scratched the surface of the HALO universe. You have the past.. The recruitment... 'The Fall Of Reach'.. The mechanics, geniuses, that take no sides. The potential is amazing. HALO is pretend, though - not real... take a reality check before you decide to lock all doors in fear of a Covenant Invasion.

Have you seen the Armour? NightmareArmor.com, I think. Making MC MJOLNIR Suits. Don't know if they've got the lisence to sell them yet, but probably a worthy investment for fans if they do. The helmet even has the lights.. Amazing.

Incidenally, HALO isn't wide-screen. Whatever were they thinking?! 5.1 is there in full force - progressive, too I think (Although only 480p), but after purchasing a fancy £1600 TV, it's bumming to find out that the best game in years doesn't support 16:9. Still, it looks okay, even the oval x2 target on the Pistol and Rocket Launcher. The Sniper scope probably look even better!

Like I said... it was five minutes ago when I first got my PS2. Yes, video-games and all that they encompass too, fall under the subjection of time. HALO 2 will be here in no time, and after having 16 MONTHS to improve on the 'Oh, Dear - My Pants Are Getting Warm' New Mombasa level and anything else unshown, you can guarantee that HALO 2 will kill the hype, and most certainly NOT the other way around...

Unless of course someone steals the code, like they did wi....

Halo 2, Half Life 2 - you know neither will live up to your expectations.

I'm just patiently awaiting both of them, they should be fun. Not ground breaking, just fun.

That's because the game is poorly programmed, and not because the graphics are amazing.

I don't think it sucks, but it isn't my favourite game. And you need good hardware to get good graphics (on PC). If it wasn't for the vehicles, I would prefer Unreal. But then again, Unreal 2004 has six or so vehicles so we'll have to see.

Halo was so overated. The graphics are nothing special and the game itself is very tedious. I personally think the story mode on Timesplitters 2 is far better than Halo despite what you fanboys say.

Halo sucks.

And Half Life 2 will kick Halo 2 into oblivion.

And SC2 is multi format.....

So muh.
