Whoever said that 'Horror is the most scary aspect of all' was wrong!

How many people can actually say that they've been scared stiff by a movie? Not many! Not me!

How many horror films have you seen that have made you laugh in one way or another? Quite a few! I have!

I think that many writers are getting it wrong. What was meant to be a horror makes you laugh. So many horror films nowadays aren't as much scary as they are funny. Its not meant to be funny, but it is!

In order to make a brilliant horror you need blood. Lots of it.
You need suspense, not too much.
You need GORE!

That is what people want to see. They want to see what they never thought possible to happen in real life.

Quite ovbiously 'happy' you have lost it. I guess your probably on the run from the men in white coats and wrote this message from the new BT internet phones.

Have you seen Scary Movie? There was gore, there was blood and little suspense. Wow I guess that makes it a scary movie then doesn't it.

What makes me scared in watching a movie is the fact that you believe in them. Wierd but true. Watching the Childs Play movie when I was younger produced heperds pie in my pants. I was afraid to switch of the TV when it finished. Obviously watching it now, I would think that the film is unbelievable so I won't be scared.

The trouble with horror movies nowadays is that they are now made to shock rather than scare. Look at the recent teen horror flicks. Do they scare you no. Do the shock you. Yes. Watching Scream I was shocked by how boring it was and by the occasional tweny year old high school students popping out unexpectingly.

I can't believe that you believe gore and blood scares people more than suspense.

“Horror” films such as scream and I know what you did Last Summer do not scare me, I find these films funny instead of being scared by them. The only scary films in my book are psychological thrillers, the ones that get inside your head and basically scare the living crap out of people, most famous films that do this are Stephen King’s It. This has been banned because it could cause permanent psychological damage.

Is Stephen King a genius or a complete head case? I think he is a bit of both, he writes such good novels, I didn’t think a book could be scary until I read some of his books.

Well I’ve started to dribble on about Stephen King now so I’ll stop before I bore the living hell out of everyone :).

The scariest movie Theme for me has to be the Borg! It sound strange, but its along the same lines of why you fear Vampires...you become the living dead and will probably kill your family too. For me the Borg has the potential to make a truely fearsome movie, the only problem is those PC StarTrek writers get Stephen King in, kill off all the StarTrek cast hooraahh!
