1/3 of European men admit to playing air guitar. Ignoring the (mostly) rubbish albums put out by Brian May (Alien Ant Farm?! SUM 41?!), I highly suspect it's a lot more than a 1/3 result.

I just say an Ozzy video (Mr Crowley), and they'd filmed a few seconds of a guy in the audience playing along to a solo. He looked like he was really getting into it too.

I too can't actually play a guitar at all but I love to play air guitar when bands like The Darkness are playing. I love it lol:D
There is little better than Cherub Rock at full pelt and my air guitar playing out sweet notes of joy to a million fit groupies.
I play it all the time. I'm a whizz, really. Which is odd, because I'm actually not that good at real guitar.
