Oh cool, what does that consist of really? I am considering either the police or university but if I do the course I want at university and then join the police on that with a degree that may be interesting. On the other hand I don't want a desk job. Prefer to be on the beat if that's the right term heh.

Depends, if you receive ok GCSE results, (5 c+ including maths and English), then it may negate the need for you to do the written test.

If you don't then you will be required to do an intelligence test type thing. Me good at English, so me no do it.

If you have a degree you will be given the option to join the advanced promotion scheme.

These are the tests both physical and mental that I would have to pass to become a police man in Scotland. It differs slightly for England, Ireland and Wales though. Here's the link Tinka :)

You are supposed to make sure it is off your collar, you must be cleanly shaven unless you’re growing a beard or already have one. To be honest, they aren’t that picky as long as you’re not taking the pish. If you have a ponytail just do what I do and tie it up.
