Help! I have about 400 tracks downloaded from Kazaa, and I've never had a problem (apart from the usual of course!) But now for some reason, none of my traffic will download, it just says 'searching' forever, and if I try and search for something the whole screen starts 'blinking' or maybe 'flashing' would be a better word, and as it 'flashes' it changes message saying 'searched finished without any results' and 'searching' and the bar at the bottom showing the percentage search progress is running the whole time.
For this to suddenely start happening, I'm wondering if I have a virus of some sort, of if I have unknowingly messed up my settings.
Anybody experienced this?

Kazaa is really crap nowadays, I can hardly ever get media. No one shares anymore, and if they do they have really low bandwidth.

This is happening to me, but only with about 50% of the files. I have no idea what's going on, but I think it's something to do with it being shut down in America.

Oh yeah, totally.
And now you have to download three entire programs. I just got rid of it.

Imesh is okay.
I'm using Soulseek, but I only really download bootlegs anymore.

I reckon that's probably because most with broadband will have moved on to eDonkey or one of its varients for easy sharing of bigger files. To be perfectly honest, CDs are that cheap at the moment my downloading has dropped pretty much to zero.

It hasn't shut down in America. It's still there but about 50% of the users have stopped due to the sueings. They can't stop something like this otherwise they would have done it straight away.
