No thanks, it doesn't look all that appealing to me.

I'll be getting Crystal Chronicles if I buy a new FF game.

How come?, FFX-2 is gonna be great, FFX was good and this is gonna go back to FFVII and VIII.

Don't know, it just doesn't stand out for me.

I loved FFVII and am hoping to pick it up in Gamestation later today to run through it again.

I've got the NTSC version, Its definatly not as good as any of the ones before it, the garment grid is good, but the story is PANTS and very 'pop', I would say rent it first, especially as its short.

What I meant was that the makers are using certain battle systems from the earlier games as well as certain character images etc.

The entire pop thing IS a bit suspect. Although I like the Tactics style mission based thing. I've seen a vid of the game in action and it does look pretty nice. Its meant to focus a bit more on action rather than story this time round.

I HAVE heard that it is meant to be a trilogy though, the first being Tidus' story, the second being Yuna's and the third being Rikku ... so curious to see how things end up.
