I saw this last night on DVD.
And it started off kinda slowly.
But by the end, I dunno.
I was filled with some kind of... I don't really know.
Y'know that feeling you get.
Bah.
But it made me realise how great an actor Jack Nicholson is.
The film ended beautifullly.
It'll be one of those films that you either love, or hate. And I think it was excellent.

I thought it was alright, but quite boring to be honest. I had the notion that it was supposed to be a comedy, but it just wasn't funny enough. Wasn't anything really, just didn't work.

But there was all these little details that contributed to a well made film. There, for example, him peeing while standing up now that his wife was dead.

It was good. It was a little slow half way through but still good. Hehe, the hot tub scene was funny :)
I have it on DVD.
Enjoyed every second of it personally; there's a real human warmth to the story, and a chuckle or smile every so often to keep the pace up. Not exactly a comedy though. Certainly not "hilarious".
But very good.
