We have it in writing, people.

Blackadder is the only sitcom except for Fawlty Towers (and Python films) to put me into a complete stupor from laughing too much, and it did more so than Towers, but only just.

Space and Black Books are funny, as are Only Fools.. and ther others, but to be perfectly honest, when did you shriek manically at Open All Hours or the Good Life like when you did at Lord Flashheart and his antics in Blackadder?

I saw Spaced and Black Books.

Black Books was funny but not great, and Spaced was boring. IMO of course.

Although Spaced would have easily won if more people watched it. Sheer brilliance.

Also, Black Books. Yummy.

Yup, I'd be happy with a Towers win.
But it Only Fools wins, I shall actually hang myself. Totally over-rated.

Fawlty Towers is obviously the best British comedy, and it WILL win. Everyone's talking about it.

Blackadder, then Fawlty Towers.

Nothing else comes close for actually laughing so much.
