Channel 4 seem to be showing them all every Sunday, with the fellowship on yesterday. I didn't catch it all because I was watching Planet Earth but I saw the beginning and end.

I think we have all 3 movies on DVD but they were my older brothers and he took them when he moved out so I havent seen them all in awhile. I was planning to get my own but Peter Jackson seems to like releasing lots of different versions. I'm sure he'll release even more when they switch to HD.

I enjoyed the first movie, some of the special effects werent as good as I remember, but then this movie is 5 years old already. On imdb it has 8.8/10 and #14 best movie all time. Do you think that's accurate?

Some people like the Two Towers more out of the three, kinda like the Empire Strikes Back.

I find it hard to differentiate the three of em ... only things I really like are the battles ... I think those films are just far toooooooooooooooooo drawn out and slow.

Buy the Lord of the Rings Boxset and get 28 hours of special features .... *groan*
