I think we have all 3 movies on DVD but they were my older brothers and he took them when he moved out so I havent seen them all in awhile. I was planning to get my own but Peter Jackson seems to like releasing lots of different versions. I'm sure he'll release even more when they switch to HD.
I enjoyed the first movie, some of the special effects werent as good as I remember, but then this movie is 5 years old already. On imdb it has 8.8/10 and #14 best movie all time. Do you think that's accurate?
Some people like the Two Towers more out of the three, kinda like the Empire Strikes Back.
