I think that On-line is a word being used to much after all it is not the most important thing in a game. Sure it would be nice to have a game where you can play people around the world, but wouldn't it be better to be able to have this as an extra.
I feel also that more customizable games are driving us forward. People want to have a more unique game, where it can be different depending on what they do. Several endings etc. More customizable main characters.
Also how do people feel about the current PC Gaming market. I feel it is an area vastly under-represented in this forum as some of the most promising, exciting, and unique games have been for PC. Diablo II, The Sims, Black and White, Baldurs Gate II, Republic. I know some of these will make it to console, but it is being pioneered by the PC. Anyone have any input?
