there will always be a new generation of graphics cards coming out so i wouldnt worry about waiting the the next generation one's otherwise you will never get one.

Good card, good price. Only thing to think about is that the next generation of cards will be out soon. The 9800 will play anything you want to throw at it beutifully though.
