"Why I hated Sony but like them now!!!"

My PS2 died on Saturday when playing StarWars SF. I was gutted but called Sony, registered and they said a new PS2 would be dispatched to me today (Tues). Sure enough, took the dead PS2 to work, phone call at 09:45 saying there was a package for me. All excited, went to reception, saw a courier standing there with a box that was too small to hold a PS2. The ear to ear grin changed to an upset look, especially as he opened the box and there was a PSOne inside. I said 'I want a PS2'. He said, I thought you'd say that. Diudn't sign for it so still have a bust PS". Called Sony, they said 'oops, we registered it as a PSOne by mistake, do you have a receipt?' A receipt, itwas a present from the girlfriend, no I don't. 'Erm, sorry then, no replacement, we can't be sure you have a PS2'.

This went on for an hour or so, phone calls back and forth. Eventually they agreed that I DO have a PS2 and will replace tomorrow.

Surely you should still hate them after

(a) Your PS2 broke after a few days
(b) They delivered the wrong replacement console
(c) They refused to replace the unit
(d) You had to make several calls to them to get any joy
(e) You still haven't received your PS2

My advice is to cut your losses return your Sony junkbox and get a Dreamcast instead - nuff said!!
