I saw a trailer when going to see The Last Samurai. It's about freak weather storms which end up killing thousands. %-mile wide twisters and 5-mile high Tidal waves crashing through New York (I think). The las shot shows what you think is the Antarctic - then a ship frozen up in said snow - then a whole city frozen up beside said ship.

Anyone know it's name?

It's from the makers of Independence Day if that helps.

Saw this trailer a while back and it looked really good. Quite scary in a way too! Didn't know Jake Gyllenhaal was in it though, will definately be watching it now then!

It's got Donny Darko in. Doubt it'll be too good.

That sounds like a Clive Cussler story..

Looks decent, the CGI isn't anything special.

I like the way they throw in "From the director of Independence Day" at the end. That was his last really sucessful film (I think they want people remembering ID4 as opposed to Godzilla or The Patriot)
