Let's talk about how we all like it.
It's a frame inserted (a la Tyler Durden) of Brad Pitt in character. There's a few of them, including the cancer meeting.
Watch it again and you'll see loads of neat little touches, like how Tyler is Jack's 'bad' side - walking up the street, Jack walks up the sidewalk while Tyler splashes through the puddles in the road. It's packed full of moments like that. And when they crash the car and Tyler pulls Jack out, they've switched sides. All very clever.
I did my media case study on Fight Club (which was harder than I anticipated).
It's the best film ever, Norton is excellent in it and Pitt is great too. That woman is quite irrelevent but still quite good.
Has anyone else noticed in the film that for singular frames there is a devil several times throughout the film?
He appears a few times in the testicular cancer meetings scenes. This shows how much I've watched it, but has anyone else noticed?
Best film ever.

Sorry, Its along the lines of "The plans are in order, Mr Durden"
I'm sure the rest I'm correct about. I'll have to have a check when I get home.
Strange.

That's bizarre. I'm sure the version I read had the same ending as the film. And I didn't read the lame 'screenplay of the movie' things you get either, it was the proper book.
I am Jack's confused brain.

Which is cool. :)
The ending is that all the buildings that are collapsing are credit / bank buildings, and all the debt everyone owes is wiped, causing chaos in the economy.
In the Book (SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Tyler fails to blow up the credit company buildings, and the narrator is sent to a mental institution. He’s convinced he’s died and went to heaven, and all the while, one of the cleaners with a beat up face is asking “When are you coming back mr Durden to lead us again?”
Much more bleak, and therefore more fun…..
But look The Pixies are playing and stuff is blowing up
No, hold on a minute. Thats not right, the film is, apart from the ending.
"I am Jacks utter boredom in the workplace"
