I can't find the original message, but someone asked a while ago when Crazy Taxi was coming to PS2.

Anyway, the answer is Friday 27th April. There's an advert in the latest issue of PSM2 magazine.

I think Crazi Taxi coming to PS2 is a godsend- its a classic game on the DC and does not deserve to be an exclusive, because everyone should be able to enjoy it. PS2 onwers are going to have a party this year with all the good titles from the DC taht are going to be released- such as Crazi Taxi, Virtua Fighter 4, RE: Code Veronica(deifnately the best Resident Evil title in the series) and more- the list is as long as your arm! I personally cannot wait, and I better get some money!

I love Crazy Taxi, I reckon its the best game on DC!! The PS2 version being a direct port will be an excellent title - I must admit though looking at the screenshots in PSM2, the PS2 version looks perhaps a little rushed and maybe not as polished as the DC version - Still its the gameplay that counts and I would recommend this to any PS2 owner, one of the most enjoyable games of recent times!!

I went home this weekend and got my copy of PSM2 (as well as ZOE, Moto GP and Seven, all thanks to SR). I read the article on Crazy Taxi. It sounded good, but also seemed to be a direct rushed conversion, which means that it`ll be as good as the DC version, possibly a bit faster, but will have nothing new or special. I don`t mind as I`ve never played Crazy Taxi on the DC, so it`ll still be a new thing. However, its bound to bring the PS2 more unwanted criticism. There are also worries of jagged edges on objects.

It sounds like it`ll be fun, but not that special to look at. Oh well.
