Reported a burglary later. Took a statement of a guy that had been assaulted and then, just 20mins before the end of my shift, a report of a suspicious death. "No one go home until we know what's going on."

Exams.

A day a bit better than yours.
Was playing the drums this morning for a couple of hours (from 9am. On a Monday morning. Muhh), then later did a long due group discussion about the morality and commercialisation of Christmas. It was meant to be done well before Christmas, but a couple of people alternated between being off.
There was only 4 of us meant to do it, y'see.
Anyway, that's all really.
Hurrah.
Started at 0800hours today, finished at 2100hours. 1 and a half hours overtime, (first half hour we do for free, for the Queen and all that crap), but it then cost me £15 to get home as my next bus wasn't until 2150hours. I now have to stay awake for as long as I can, night shift tomorrow, at least I can drive in.
So, today, sorted out a theft thing, walked around in the rain for hours, talked to bad motorists, arrested one person for another theft, interviewed and completed a file, took fingerprints, photo's and DNA.
Tomorrow my Inspector wants me to take him for a walk to see how I'm progressing.
So, what have you all been up to?

It sounds like you need a bit of R & R, he he he
It's not big or clever, but it happens - usually after a night on the beer.

When i do this, i never want to go to sleep, i find it a shame that i have been up this long and that i am now about to finish it.
But yer, like in the 6 weeks holidays i was awake like 2 sometimes even 3 days in a row.
It then makes you realise why you need sleep.

I'm not impressed with that at all. Myself and quite a few other people on here foolishly stay up for days at a time.
When you've done this, then you'll know what tiredness is all about.
