where can i get free games to0 download, preferably without time limit. I have tried asking Jeeves, yahoo, but there are not many good ones. I like adventure quests. I have been given a few old ones like police quest and space quest but I would like some up to date ones. I have bought a few magazines to get the games but they have limited life.

No problem - why do something for yourself when a bored office monkey can do it for you? After reading that list properly I'm now going to abuse my position as 'man in charge of router and firewall' to download SCUMM games that I used to own. And some that I didn't.

http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility_stable.php

They have Full Throttle down as 65% completed so the answer is probably 'sort of'.

You know this SCUMM thang? Does it play Full Throttle?

That's the only game I own - stashed away somewhere...

Try www.scummvm.org
It allows you to play a bunch of old point and click adventures like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. Beneath a Steel Sky is available as a free download: other games you have to 'find' yourself.

www.revolution.co.uk also let you download Lure of the Temptress, which is quite good as I remember.

Try buying PC games, they give you covermounted demos etc - plus normally they publish lists of games that can be legally downloaded, admittedly they are a bit old, but without breaking the law its the only way i can think of...
