In the price written on games sold by this site there is a different price that appears in a red font with the word ex vat written above it , what does this mean , what is this ex vat ?

Ignore the ex vat price, as you'll be paying vat.

17.5% I think.

Value added tax.
Everything you'll ever buy will have VAT on it, apart from a few select things. Like charity shop clothes etc.

Anyway, it's 17% or so of the original price added on.
