This soundtrack is just so awesome, perhaps not as good as the two towers, but still up there among the greats. Dont worry if you arent a fan of classical music, i wasnt either until the fellowship opened my eyes.

Minas Morgul is very eerie. *Shudders*

Ive got so many favourites,

The Prophecy
Bridge of khazad-dum
Riders of Rohan
May it be
Gollum's song
The steward of Gondor
Into the West
Isengard Unleashed

Those are the ones off the top of my head, but there really arent any songs on there that dont sound perfect.

I've got all three.. my favourites are the Plains of Rohan theme and the "White Tree" theme of Minas Tirith, also when the chain of beacons are lit from Gondor to Rohan. Stirring stuff.

I've listened to the first CD so much over the last two years, I have to admit it's lost some of it's appeal, but the Fellowship theme as they walk across the mountains is still great, as is "Concerning Hobbits".

Shows a real contrast, and a diverse spectrum of music that is masterfully composed by Howard Shore.

that's nothing, I've got a whole orchestra in my garage, and they'll play anything I ask for the price of a fun size snickers.

I plan on getting all three soundtracks soon.
I'd imagine there's a boxset thing though.

Is there?
