With all the hype over well over 12 months, can PD save the N64 on its own? The N64 has been a dead horse since Golden Eye lost its prestige. There have a been a lack of good games on a regular basis while the PS has always had at least 3 or 4 games eagerly awaited games coming out (Samckdown, MGS, SF2, Vagrant story and GTA 2) within weeks. In my local high street on the day PD came out, I only saw that 1 copy had been sold. The number of periphals needed and the cost, combined with lack of games has caused the downfall, and with an upcoming console called Starcube (seriously), the future doesn't look too bright for Nintendo.

Forget about PD... Nintendo made a $1 bn from Pokemoon last year- enough the keep the company in the black! The N64 has reached the end of its life. Obviously there will be a few last great games, but once then they will stop and Dolphin development will take over.

Ok well thats all nonsense
No offence but Perfect Dark has been sold out in the trafford centre, warrington and everywhere else near me since it was released.
My girlfriends shares in nintendo have rocketed since its release and the n64 is currently the best selling console in the US.
Sure its reaching the end of its road, but its going to go out with one heck of a bang, besides there are lots of games to backup PD:
Banjo-Tooie
Zelda MoM
The World Is Not Enough
Eternal Darkness
Conkers Bad Fur Day
Dinosaur Planet
