Bought their album 'Delousing at the Comatorium' at the weekend; I'm speechless at how absolutely amazing it is. Eclectic without burying the ear under a wall of unlistenable bad noise, it's the most original and best album I've heard in the 13 days of January thus far.
Sparta are like ATDI without the real drive of Bixler/Rodriguez - Good, but much more 'accessible' as it were.
At The Drive In are just plain brilliant. Highly inventive and wonderful power and prog stylings (i.e Mars Volta) with some quality heavy stuff too. Well, not really heavy, but one would classify it as heavy rock I suppose. Relationship of Command is a worthy purchase.

Someone else thinks it's brilliant. My friends like it, but SR people never seemed to take to it. I'm (seriously) listening to it at the moment. Very odd, but so so so clever and genius musicians. Televators is jsut the most haunting thing ever.
