Which makes it a nice console, but not an essential purchase. I wonder why they decided not to add backwards compatibility back in?
As is, it's quieter, and slimmer, but the difference isn't that drastic compared to the PS2/PS2 slim difference. I won't be trading in mine to get a slim. Still, maybe it'll encourage more people to adopt the PS3.
