both the Sony Picot 2. Why you may ask? Well after having a look round the price guide, I noticed some were labelled multi region, so I automatically assumed the model itself were. Then after buying from Comet (they seemed the best with free delivery), I just had a look at the next link down for a laugh... and lookey, a description stating that the original player was modified for multi region use. So I ordered that as well.

No matter, Comet apparently confirm orders within 24 hours by email, so I'll just say I changed my mind.

Still waiting for my DVD player to arrive from Amazon. £80 it set me back.

Sorry, SR, I almost forgot you did DVD players. I'll be making it up to you by buying a Gamecube from Special Reserve when I get my wages (I'm about £30 short on the package I want, might as well wait)

Which make is that and where did you get it from? Also can it play files which are in folders? As I wouldnt mind getting one if there that cheap, saves converting avi to DVD.

I bought a Pacific DVD player from Asda, at 44.99.

Its multi region (with the keypad hack) and plays mp3's, VC and SVCD's, the lot really. Excellent picture quality, and good sound.

Can't go wrong really.

Well not as cheap as those they sell here, but this is from Sony, and it's rather wee.
