Hotly tipped as a big success in 2004, I've been going on about this band for ages and now they're finally making it. They're whole philosophy towards music (and mine!) is summed up in this quote: "Where's the fun in that?". They're an excellent outfit, originally making disco music to attract girls, now they've got a rockier leaning and it's really catchy too! Tracks to check out:

Take Me Out
Dart of Pleasure

Darts of pleasure ends with the best chorus ever: "Ich bin super fantastisch!"

Can't wait until they've got an album out.

NME are championing them? Buggger - that's their career ruined! Gaaaah, why do they always have to go for the quick success route, rather than having a few low-key albums and then having some history behind them! Damn 15 year olds, what do they know! Anyway, they're different to Hot Hot Heat, and Kings of Leon and The Spandex, because they're actually good!

It's kind of like Electric Six meets Athlete.

Why do I (seriously) always hate these bands?

They do abosloutely nothing for me. Kings of Leon, Darkness, Hot Hot Heat. I saw this band on Later with.... but never really heard them properly.

I'm wary of this band, purely because they're on the front cover of the NME, who proclaim that 'this band will change your life.'

Yes, and Hot Hot Heat are the new sensation in 2004, too.

That's the other single, right?

Like I say, I'm sure it'll grow on me even more, but I can tell it's a good album.

Take Me Out is better though. I've got another track too, can't remember what it's called though.

monkey_man, I've got it and I must say it's very good. No songs seem to JUMP out as much as Darts of Pleasure but as I've only given it one listen all the way through I'm sure more favourites will emerge.

Very strong.
