I agree, if you've completed the game you might aswell have a look at what the cheats can do e.g. Flying cars in GTA etc.
But, to cheat to win e.g. SOCOM or Tekken etc. then no; I dont think its right.

I condone cheating when you are well and truly stuck on a game and nothing in the world is helping you progress. I got stuck on Final Fantasy 8 about 18 months ago and I still haven't got past the bit, which has completely ruined the fun of the game for me. If there was a cheat out there somewhere that would help me play on with the game, I'd use it.
