I currently have one website and a VIP+ account. I intend to buy a new web address however I would like to know if I can add this second address into my current VIP+ account? or do i need to purchase another VIP+ account?

The VIP service is intended for use "per domain name" in effect, meaning you will need VIP hosting for each site (space) you want to host with us.
You can of course assign multiple domains to the same web space, but not host multiple sites on said space.
