A long while back the InstantPro editor was breaking Google Adsense JavaScript.

After pasting Google's code into the page using the editor - when revisiting the code or looking at the finished page source it isn't as the original.

I was hoping the latest InstantPro update might have resolved this (as I have some people that want to create InstantPro sites with ads) - but I've just been experimenting and it doesn't look like it has been fixed.

When pasting Adsense code, the original below...

...gets changed to this:

I see the InstantPro pages advertise it is Adsense 'compatible' but when I look deeper I see it only mentions 'sky scraper ads'?

I don't want to use Sky Scraper's just want ads where I decide in the text :¬)

Can you let me know what the latest is with this please?

My play InstantPro site does display ads from where I played around a long while back but I'm not sure the code isn't borked as all my Adsense earnings come from my non-InstantPro site!

NB. I know I'm not the only one having frustrations with this as I've actually had a couple of emails from other Freeola users asking how I managed to get them displayed on my site!

My plan was to post a nice informative guide to help people gets to grips with it - but that's got rather rail-roaded!

Thanks in advance, as always.

Arh, I forgot movement can work both ways!

I'll put this out to review in another year... ;¬)

EDIT: Just to say I'm still waiting for this if it's still possible!

I've edited this post rather than *bouncing* it as I don't like to irritate ;¬)

EDIT: Still no news which is a shame :¬(
Just to say I'm still waiting for this if it's still possible but I'm guessing it's not going to be available.

If, by movement, you mean downwards as more important things have been added to the top of the list then yes:). It's still there along with other InstantPro tweaks. We haven't forgotten it.

Hello - I year on... :¬P
I take it there's been no movement on this (JS Plugin)?

Can you (Freeola) please say if this is still likely to happen or should I give up?

Sorry to be a pain.
Thanks,

Thanks for the update.

From a number of the posts here a JS plugin would seem to answer quite a number of users requests, so I'm sure it's worth doing.

Hopefully us InstantPro users won't have to wait another year! :¬P

Sorry for the delay in replying, been away from here for a week. The Javascript plugin is still on our todo list, just not very high up it yet! Unforunately it hasn't progress much and what has been done will need re-writing as the editor codebase has changed. However I am possibly going to be working on a few InstantPro things shortly so maybe...

Hi Freeola,
This thread is a year old today :¬)

I thought I would see how the InstantPro JavaScript Plugin is coming along as I have a few people (including myself) that are still interested in this.

Thanks.

I did read that - but didn't get the impression you were "developing a plugin" from your post!

Anyway that sounds like good news!

I can only apologise for my lack of communication skills...

Please see my earlier reply. A plugin for the editor is in development to allow Javascript to be inserted anywhere in page content.
