Amazon delivered 6 REM today, all very impressive. I got:

So, with 'In Time' (Ie. Best of) that I got at Christmas, that makes 7. Only another 7-8 to go, then. And they have a new album coming out this year!
Back to the topic title anyway, any other REM fans? What is/are your favourite REM song(s)?

I don't like Losing My Religion, which seems to be a lot of people's favourite. It's okay near the start - but it never goes anywhere, never up or down, just stays on the same level the whole song.
Which, now I've noticed it, really annoys me.

I like Nightswimming, Orange Crush and The Great Beyond, and the majority of other REM songs.
Not a fan, but I thought that 'Bad Day' and 'Losing My Religion' both rocked muchly.

If you all like/love/feel strongly about REM ;-), you might want to check out this Budapest based band, (English language) just released through independent Jack Crow Records and Universal Music. They are called the Beaux Jaxon Band , the album is called "Who I Am" here's a link www.beauxjaxon.com It has a bit of REM flavor yet you can hear a lot of other influences as well. Cheers

I also like: Daysleeper, Electrolyte, Great Beyond (I could carry on all day!)
I popped over to a friend's the other day and "borrowed" all the REM things I don't have - singles, albums, live, alternative versions... so I now own every REM thing released ever (I think!)
Not completely legal, but I do own a massive proportion of it.
