the way to avoid "newbies" sticking up for each other is really, REALLY simple:
Avoid poting cretinous rubbish in the first place, then no-one will feel the need to point out that it's cretinous rubbish, no-one need stick up for anyone else and we're all happy.
i have to say, not once in my time as a newbie did i encounter any hostility. then again, nor did i post links to out-war or fill up space with crap topics about social ladders in forums.
