Ooh, ooh, me first, www.photo-genic.net
Ahhh, I feel all warm and tingly inside ;)
Our First Vision is to teach members how to get out of Auto and understand camera settings, offering Tuesday Evenings to ask questions, and practise in a group, with different exhibits to take pictures of each week. Tutorial Days to give extra practise in a nice location offering scenic opportunities, with only 6 or 7 people in a group.
Photoshop and Elements lessons to get you started in these programs.
Now that we have been open for a while, we think short workshops on Tuesday evenings will be popular. We shall be making a list and adding it to the website shortly of what we have planned. These will give you extra practise and cover all sorts of photography.
Once a month we will run a Club Day Out, plus an evening or early morning shoot. This month we went to Dartmoor, and the 12th August is our extra evening. We shall shortly be organising September.
New Challenge once a month - keeping us inspired is the idea, and you can load your efforts onto the new gallery starting shortly.
For the more experienced photographers out there - let us know if you have any ideas.
We have just started to add links to good websites. Let us know if you have one to add.
Where to go pages will shortly have a good description of how to get there. If you know a great spot or time of year to capture something let us know.
Photo Galleries will soon be available for you to load your own pictures.
We thought MSN networking may be a good way to stay in touch, and we will be sending out the invitations daily, if you want to add us to your network click accept. I must confess to getting a little lost about these networks, but I will see how it goes. If you do not wish to accept, click delete and you will only receive e-mails from us (which I think may be easier - but maybe I am not keeping up with new stuff)
See you Tuesday

Dead consoles must have embraced the pain.
