I have NTL and apprently I have 55mb of free webspace but I cannot work out how the hell to use it.
The website is useless and I dont know where to login to upload stuff or whatever.

It's only the one time you have to do that and NTL never goes down. Try it! :p
I managed to host videos on Geocities, and it sounds really complicated to use NTL anyhow. It's much easier cutting and pasting html code!

I use it and it's goodgood. How'd you know how much space you get? I would like to know how much is left on mine.

Download an FTP program. That's what you have to use.
I'll assume you know how to use FTP, if not, Google does. ;)
Your username would be whatever NTL have given you. Like Kyz.Paradox or Joe.Bloggs or John.Doe. If you get the drift. And you password will be that dodgy password containing letters and numbers they gave you when you first signed up. So if you've been signed up for a long, long time, you'll have to dig out that paperwork!
So.. to upload, type in this stuff in your FTP program:
upload.ntlworld.com
username: your NTL username!
password: your NTL password!
It might be different in all FTP programs where you type that stuff. I use SmartFTP, easiet and most simple of em all.
Your site will be at something like http://homepage.ntlworld.com/yourusername/homepage.html
