I'm redesigning my site (again) and you can view the new layout / design at http://www.synae.com/indexv5.htm . However, I'd like to incorporate PHP and MySQL databases into it, but I've little to no idea how they work. Ideally, each game would have a 'record' in the database with boxart, developer info, release date and links to articles on the game that could be searched and viewed. Plus, just to add to the fun, a nice GUI to enter data and file locations.
This is a tall order, and no way am I expecting anyone to attempt it. But if someone could lay on a few tips on how to go about starting and what the simplest (if there is one) way of doing it is, I'd be highly grateful.
