I bought this film on DVD today because I remember a few feelings from when I first watched it on T.V. I remember being utterly engrossed in that movie because it was simply so amazing. In many films I am apathetic not caring what happens to which character however in this I was sympathetic to the cause of Sigourney Weaver (playing the famous primatologist Dian Fossey) and was utterly disgusted and appauled at all the negative actions towards the Gorillas within the film. I totally agree that what happens to these beautifull creatures is nothing more than savage butchery and murder. If you currently think that all exotic animals either live in a nice warm zoo or play about in some far away paradise then this film is a huge eye opener that I'm sure you will like if not love. I don't think it is due to come on the T.V. any time soon however I have seen the DVD on sale in shops like Virgin Megastore so I'd advise you buy this amazing film. It's cheap yet outstanding. Need I say more? Any comments that agree or are to the contrary are welcome...
