first of all what does a tracker program do??
I can understand the concept of VST , but when it comes to samples and instruments in both the VST and tracking programs, Im lost.
Also does anyone know why in Cubase if I try and record a Midi sequence, it runs and I can hear the sequence (played by using my PC keyboard) but when I stop the recording theres no recording thats been done. The same happens when I choose to record to a wave file.Do I need an external Midi device? Will a virtual Midi cable (software) sort this out??
So Ive been resorting to using the "what you hear" record function in creative's mixer which allows noise to enter the system.
None of this makes any sense to me.... help please
