Square have deceided NOT to develop for the X-Box!! Even though they are a 'listed developer', Square will not be producing games for Microsoft's machine.

It is a fact that the dominating console in every previous console wars has had Square and Enix developing for it. The X-Box has neither.......

Thanks to IGN for the info!

Michael Haneke’s Highbrow Violence - 2009

Montage Film Reviews freelancer Ian Viggars MA (Hons) BA (Hons) has written a review of the film '71 Fragments In A Chronology Of Chance' 1994 (dir. Michael Haneke ); in which he examines Haneke’s 71 Fragments with reference to his individual style but with particular focus on his depiction of violence, which Ian sees as one of his strengths, but also as conflicting with his publicised views on screen violence.

Yes, I'm sure that's where I saw it......

Here it is:
Square Says No to Xbox

In the last two generations of systems, the systems that won the battles in Japan were those that secured two major Japanese developers, Square and Enix. Nintendo did it first with the NES and SNES, and Sony followed suit with PlayStation. In recent rumblings, IGN has learned that Square has decided NOT to develop for Microsoft's Xbox, after all. Square had originally said that it was interested in Xbox development, and has apparently been in discussions with Microsoft, but recently we heard that Square has decided to pull away from any Xbox development, although it's still listed as a developer. As everybody knows, it's quite easy to become a listed developer, which is different than actually developing for a system. Also, Enix has yet to sign any deal with Microsoft. Is Xbox going to have a tough time in Japan? You bet.
