Hi all,

Just this week purchased a Kyoceramita 1010N A4 laser printer and have just been trying to set it up this evening.

Set up the printer fine and works ok...perfectly acceptable print quality etc...HOWEVER...

The paper which will be fed through this printer will be almost exclusively pre-printed header paper (with a blue logo in the top corner).

The problem is that the printer seems to press on copies of this logo further down the page, getting gradually fader the further you go down.

Anyone got any ideas whats causing this? Is the heat involved melting this blue ink to the rollers, which are then applying it to the page further down?

Any ideas how I can get around this?

If not, will I be left with the same problem whichever laser printer I go for?

Thanks in advance peeps. :)

sounds like the heat is melting the blue ink, can you get a look at the rollers ?

Don't know what to suggest though, is it the same problem on the first page (when the printer is warm) and on the say 10th page (when the printer is hot) ?

Prehaps Turbonutter or someone else has any ideas ?
