Being the great Kings of Leon fan I am, I failed to get tickets before they sold out, so since they were sold, I've scowled the internet high and low for a pair of tickets to Nottingham Rock City.
No result.
So one day before the gig, well, around and hour ago I recieve an e-mail exclaming I have won a pair of tickets to the gig. Obviously sceptical, I try to find the origin of the mail. I find it actually comes from the company who manage the band, and I remember I entered a competition on the kingsofleon site a while back. thankyouverymuch.

California Waiting, is indeed a classic. BUT NO TALIHINA SKY? It hurts for me to think. They played both variations of Molly's Chambers (Molly's Chambers, Molly's Hangover) straight after each other which worked suprisingly well, and I was happy to hear 'Wicker Chair'. They missed out 'Dusty' and finished on 'Trani' albeit not their greatest track it, but it worked well.

Just about all of the songs on the album are great but the best has to be California Waiting
It was a good gig. Very good. They played a few new songs - but no Talihina Sky - Oh, how I wept.
