Well, we aren't poor. Whatever we do isn't going to benefit them, all the way over there. We're well fed. We're the lucky(er) ones, so why behave like someone who's not by eating it ALL? Am i meant to cry in sorrow for the people in that situation, whilst swallowing each mouthful of food, splashing tears over my dinner in pity for them?
But, also, if you think about it, it's a mighty big chance that we might have ended up elsewhere.

An I've seen tramps eating out of bins before - so if you put your dinner in the bin they would be more than happy. They would surely die if nobody every left any food. So if you leave food you are actually saving lives. Bless you my child
