Been away for quite a bit because I managed to screw up my broadband, I'd tell you how but it won't be interesting unless you have some kind of fetish for ethernet adapters and proxy settings, which I assume some of you do.
Anyway I have had quite an eventful few days away from the forums and in my absence I have learnt a few valuble things. Firstly, all newspapers are a load of utter tripe. When Saddam was caught, 8, yes EIGHT newspapers had exactly the same headline, "We got him!" Firstly, "They got him" is more correct as the newspaper themselves didnt get him, liars; and secondly... I haven't thought of a secondly yet.
My idiot of a mother went to her works christmas party on friday night and, in what I assume to be a drunken assault on gravity, she fell over on the dance floor and broke her wrist. She's not got her arm in a cast and is whining because it itches. Stupid cow, serves you right. (I say it here because I can't say it to her face!)
Christmas party at a club rented out by the sixth formers, is going to be tomorrow night. Should be funny seeing some of them getting drunk and making fools of themselves. Thing is, the next day we have prize giving and I reckon everyone will be stumbling in like zombies.
I got a prize at prize giving, it's like the only academic thing I have ever won and I am rather happy. It's an award for business studies after I came top in my year at my school after joining the course 3 months late (I took french and decided I hated it so switched).
For those of you on my msn list, I'm not using the ntl thang any more because the inbox is hideous - I'm back with my hotmail one.
